If you enjoy having a a beverage ever so often, leave your cash out of the casino if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your handbag, your billfold, and keep all cash, credit cards and chequebooks back at the hotel. Pack only the cash you anticipate to use on beverages, tipping and whatever pocket change you intend to lose and keep the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Not by any means. Just realistic. You may well have a profit following a intoxicated evening out with your comrades and be blessed sufficiently to hook a long roll at a smokin craps game. Hang on to that story considering that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continually drink alcohol and gamble. These activities just do not mix.
Keeping your money back at the hotel is a tiny bit drastic, but defensive actions for excessive behavior is a requirement. If you bet to win, then don’t consume alcohol and gamble. If you like to burn your $$$$ without a concern, then drink all the gratis beer your stomach can handle, but do not carry charge cards and chequebooks to toss into the mix of going after losses after your drunken brain loses all the cash!
Let me to take this 1 step further. Don’t drink and then hop on the net to play in your preferred online casino either. I love to beverage from the coziness of my condominium, however considering that I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards in close proximity, I can’t drink and bet.
Why? Even though I do not drink a lot, when I drink alcohol, it is clearly sufficient to befuddle my better judgment. I wager, so I don’t consume alcohol when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, do not gamble when you do. Both create an awful, and costly, drink.
