If you enjoy having a a cocktail occasionally, leave your money at home if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your evening bag, your wallet, and leave all money, credit cards and chequebooks at home. Only take whatever cash you anticipate to use on alcohol, tipping and few dollars you intend to burn and leave the rest behind.
Cynical? Not at all. Realistic more like. You might have a win after a inebriated night out with your friends and be lucky enough to hit a 25 minute toss at a on fire craps game. Don’t forget that account because it is as short-lived as it gets if you continuously drink alcohol and gamble. These activities just do not mix.
Keeping your cash back at the hotel might be a tiny bit dramatic, but precautionary actions for dramatic behavior is required. If you bet to profit, then don’t drink and play. If you are able to afford to throw aside your money without a worry, then drink all the gratis beer you can handle, but do not pack charge cards and checks to toss into the mix of following squanderings after your bombed brain throws away everything!
Let me to take this 1 step further. Don’t drink and then head on the net to bet in your preferred internet casino either. I love to cocktail from the comfort of my apartment, however seeing that I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards in close proximity, I can not drink alcohol and wager.
How come? Although I do not drink to excess, when I consume alcohol, it’s absolutely sufficient to blur my better judgment. I wager, so I do not drink alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, don’t wager when you do. When mixed, both create an awful, and expensive, cocktail.
