If you enjoy a beverage every now and then, keep your money at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your evening bag, your billfold, and keep all money, plastic credit and chequebooks back at the hotel. Pack only the cash you intend to use on alcohol, tipping and only the pocket change you intend to lose and leave the rest behind.
Cynical? Not really. Realistic more like. You might have a success following a drunken evening out with your buddies and be lucky enough to hit a long roll at a on fire craps game. Hang on to that story because it is as short-lived as it gets if you always consume alcohol and bet. The two simply don’t go well together.
Leaving your moola out of the casino is a bit dramatic, but preventative actions for excessive actions is a requirement. If you bet to succeed, then do not drink and gamble. If you can afford to blow your assets without a worry, then consume all the gratis booze your stomach can handle, but don’t carry charge cards and chequebooks to toss into the mix of going after squanderings after your hooched up self loses all the cash!
Permit me to take this 1 step further. Don’t drink alcohol and then go on to the internet to bet in your preferred online casino either. I enjoy a beverage from the comfort of my condo, however due to the fact that I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards at my fingertips, I can’t drink and gamble.
Why? Despite the fact that I don’t drink a lot, when I drink, it is certainly adequate to blur my common sense. I bet, so I don’t drink when betting. If you are more of a drinker, don’t wager when you do. Both create a decimating, and expensive, drink.
